
Jared supports Jennifer Gwartz, Head of Television at Lin Pictures. His focus is on developing original content for the small screen, helping writers bring their most innovative and engaging characters to life.
Prior to joining Lin Pictures, Jared worked for Will Fetters (creator/Co-EP) on the ABC/WB Studios/Fake Empire pilot Georgetown that shot in New York City during the spring of 2011. Before this, he was assistant to Joe Hipps, Head of Television at MRC, where he played a creative role in developing the forthcoming CBS series How to be a Gentleman and Netflix's first foray into original content House of Cards. While at MRC Jared also assisted in overseeing current production of the HBO animated series The Life & Times of Tim and The Ricky Gervais Show as well as the ABC reality show Shaq Vs. Prior to MRC, Jared spent several months interning with Shine/Reveille's unscripted team on the lot at NBCUniversal, working in development on shows such as MasterChef (Fox) and The Buried Life (MTV). Before moving to Los Angeles, Jared got his first taste of the business interning for Scott Rudin Productions and the Weinstein Company during the summers of 2008 and 2009 respectively.
Jared grew up in Westchester County, New York and went to college in Atlanta, Georgia. He is conversational in Italian.
Childhood ambition: To be Derek Jeter, and in my offseason play point guard for the Knicks.
Fondest memory: Second semester of senior year (High School and College)
Soundtrack: Mr. Jones, Sky's The Limit, American Girl, Triumph, Fool in the Rain, Thunder Road.
Retreat: New York, NY - nothing like being surrounded by friends and family.
Wildest dream: Competing on Global Guts and then scaling the aggrocrag so I can be a proud owner of a piece of the radical rock.

Biggest challenge: Yoga... I still can't touch my toes.

Perfect day: Cinnamon Toast Crunch...10 straight wins in morning pickup...midday malibu hike with the gf followed by ceviche at Neptune's Net.. beach volleyball afternoon tourney with friends... Sunday supper at Dominick's with brother Zach... (fly back to Edgemont, NY for) late night Candle Light Inn grubbing while watching the Yankees win the pennant.
First job: Coaching basketball and living in a cabin with 11 year-olds at Camp Greylock in Becket, MA - making roughly $0.77/hour...and loving every second of it.
Indulgence: The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo books
Last purchase: Case of coconut water... either I'm the biggest sucker out there, or this stuff is magic.
