Jennifer Gwartz

Jennifer is the Head of Television at Lin Pictures. She is a Los Angeles native and graduate of The University of Pennsylvania. She began her career at Lorimar Television as a production assistant and made her transition into feature films as an executive at Silver Pictures.

From Silver Pictures, Jennifer was named Vice President of Cary Woods' Miramax-based production company, Woods Entertainment. At Woods, she developed SCREAM, which went on to gross $100 million domestic, as well as KIDS, COPLAND and BEAUTIFUL GIRLS.

Following her stint at Woods Entertainment, Jennifer returned to Silver Pictures as Senior Vice President of Production in February 1997. She oversaw a slate of feature film projects including LETHAL WEAPON 4, HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL and THE MATRIX as well as series for broadcast networks and cable, including "TALES FROM THE CRYPT" and the UPN series "THE STRIP."

In September 1998, Jennifer made her transition into network television as an executive in Drama Series at ABC Entertainment working on such shows as "WASTELAND", "VENGEANCE UNLIMITED," and "FANTASY ISLAND."

In July 1999, she joined Columbia TriStar Television where she ran the Drama Department along with colleague, Danielle Stokdyk. Following their stint co-running the department, Jennifer and Danielle segued into a producing deal at Universal Television from 2000-2002, where they Executive Produced the pilot HOMEWARD BOUND (Sachs and Judah) for ABC. From 2003 to 2005, they headed up Joel Silver's television division at Warner Brothers, where they Executive Produced the pilots for VERONICA MARS (Rob Thomas), PRODIGY (Josh Friedman) and THE STUDIO (Dana Barrata).

After leaving Silver Television, Jennifer continued developing and producing series television, serving as Executive Producer on Rob Thomas's critically acclaimed series VERONICA MARS for 3 seasons, Co-Executive Producer on the ABC series BIG SHOTS, Executive Producer of the 90210 pilot, Executive Producer and Co-Executive Producer, respectively on both Rob Thomas's series "CUPID" and "PARTY DOWN."

Most recently, while continuing to have multiple projects in active development, she served as Executive Producer on the Rob Thomas/FOX project, LITTLE IN COMMON, which earned a pilot order and is currently in contention for the 2011/2012 mid-season.
