Jon is the Vice President of Production at Lin Pictures. With his colleagues Mark and Seanne, Jon brings in new projects and develops Lin Pictures’ current slate. Jon is a Co-Producer on the following projects set up at Warner Brothers: “Godzilla,” based on the Toho Company’s iconic series of monster movies; “Tom and Jerry,” based on the classic Hanna-Barbera animated series; the comic book adaptation of Jeff Smith’s “Bone;” “The Karma Coalition,” a spec script written by Shawn Christensen; “It,” based on Stephen King’s epic horror novel; “Hiding in Time,” based on the Shadowline comic book miniseries published by Image Comics; and “Tales from the Gangster Squad,” based on the series of LA Times articles of the same name. In November, 2009, Jon was profiled on The Hollywood Reporter’s “Next Generation List.”

Prior to joining Lin Pictures, Jon served as Director of Development at the management/production company Benderspink. At Benderspink, Jon set up projects for Benderspink to produce, including “The Hole” at Bold Films, a 3-D film which is currently in post-production with Joe Dante directing; the comic book adaptations “Pet Robots” at Disney and “Hyperactive” at Paramount Pictures and MTV Films; and “Sweep the Leg” at Summit Entertainment.

Previously, Jon worked at both Gold Circle Films and Universal Pictures. Jon began his career as an editor at Hippy Comix, an underground comic book publisher, and segued into feature film production as an assistant to producer Scott Rudin.

Jon grew up primarily in Berkeley, CA, but spent parts of his upbringing in other parts of California, as well as France, Australia, Idaho, and England. He speaks French.
