'Cloudy' directors toy with 'Lego'
Warner Bros. is building up its "Lego" movie. Studio is in talks with the "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" team of Phil Lord and Christopher Miller to write and direct. Warners-based Dan Lin ("Sherlock Holmes") and Roy Lee of Veritgo Entertainment are producing the family adventure, a mix of live action and animation.

'Cloudy' directors play with 'Lego'
Warner Bros.’ movie based on the Lego toys has found its latest brick piece: a director. Or in this case, a pair of directors. Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the helmers behind Sony Animation’s hit “Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs,” are in final negotiations to write and direct the Lego movie, which is being produced by Dan Lin and Roy Lee. Jill Wilfert at Lego is exec producing.

'Godzilla' stomps back to screen
"Godzilla" is coming back -- this time, with Legendary Pictures taking the lead, co-producing and co-financing with Warner Bros. for release in 2012. Legendary announced Monday it had obtained rights to the iconic monster character from Japan's Toho Co., which has overseen more than 25 "Godzilla" films.
